Museum Pass

Our office offers a museum pass available to residents of the 51st District! Submit a request to coordinate a time to visit participating museums — for free!

About the Pass

  1. The pass is non-transferable and is given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

  2. Registration is required, so we recommended you request the pass at least 1 week in advance.

  3. Review the guidelines at the museum you wish to visit in case there are unexpected museum hours or covid-19 procedures.

  4. Upon entry, you will have to present the letter provided by Rep. Syed's office, an I.D., and any supplemental material that may be required by that particular museum.

  • The Art Institute of Chicago

  • Brookfield Zoo/CZS (need at least a week’s notice from date of your visit)

  • Chicago Academy of Sciences/Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

  • Chicago Botanic Garden

  • Chicago Children’s Museum

  • Chicago History Museum

  • DuSable Museum of African American History

  • The Field Museum (additional ticket provided by the museum will be emailed once approved, at least 2 days in advance) 

  • Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center

  • Museum of Contemporary Art

  • Museum of Science and Industry

  • National Museum of Mexican Art (always offers free general admission, so you do not need to go through our office)

  • National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture 

  • John G. Shedd Aquarium
